The BSWA team held several meetings with Mr. Naeem Ul Rehman, District Election Commissioner Khairpur, to discuss ongoing activities, with a special focus on women’s CNIC registration through Mobile Registration Vehicles (MRVs) under the Pakistan Women Leaders Project.
This initiative, implemented in collaboration with the Aurat Foundation, UNDP, and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), aims to facilitate 12,000 women across five districts of Sindh in obtaining new CNICs.
The project directly advances social inclusion and strengthens democratic participation. The key objective is to increase women’s voter registration in District Khairpur by improving access through awareness sessions and MRVs, while also enhancing their political participation via inclusive platforms.
On this occasion, the District Election Commissioner provided publicity material including posters, pamphlets, and banners to support mass-level mobilization and awareness campaign.
