Youth Empowerment Multiple Skill Development Training Center (YEMSDTC) is working under umbrella of Bhittai Social Watch & Advocacy (BSWA) since 2014 and registered with Trade Testing Board (TTB) Karachi. YEMSDTC launched 4 months training program under BBSYDP Phase VIII, Batch II (SSDP Round V) from August 10th, to December 9th, 2016. Course completed successfully on December 9th, 2016.

Larkana, October 6, 2012:

Condemning the tribal conflicts in Sindh, Touqeer Fatima Bhutto, the Sindh Minister for Women Development, said that she would present a resolution in Sindh assembly for declaring tribal conflicts as acts of terrorism. She was speaking at consultation on a research study on “Economic, Social and Cultural Impacts of Tribal Conflicts in Sindh. The consultation was jointly organized by Bhittai Social Watch and Advocacy (BSWA) and Indus Development Society (IDS) at a hotel in Larkana. Ms. Fatima commended the efforts of Hassan Nasir Mirbahar, the research, and BSWA for taking the efforts to highlight this important issue. She acknowledged that reforms in police are required as there are corruptions and mishaps happening in the police department. She stressed the need for raising awareness in masses on these important issues. She invited media and civil society to collaborate with politicians in this regards.

Opportunities for Youth in District Khairpur Mir’s

Bhittai Social Watch & Advocacy (BSWA), was established in the year 1995, by a group of educated and devoted people of the area. The organization got registered under Voluntary Social Welfare Agency (Registration & Control) Ordinance 1961. It is not for profitable and non-governmental right based and community social development indigenous intermediary organization of Sindh. First registered as “Bhittai Social Welfare Association. In 2012 after expanding the programs and area renamed as “Bhittai Social Watch & Advocacy- BSWA is making sincere efforts for improving livelihoods, and socio economic conditions of vulnerable groups of the area through advocacy campaign, resources mobilization, training, and networking. The involvement of its participatory approach has made meaningful impact on human life and development of the surrounding communities.

National Cultural Exchange Event for Promotion of Peace & Harmony 

BSWA is going to organize a National Cultural Exchange Event for Promotion of Peace & Harmony on March 31st, 2015 at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. The program is being organized in collaboration with Shah Abdul Latif University & Inter University Consortium for the Promotion of Social Sciences, Arts & humanities (IUCPSS) at National level. In which peoples, students, teachers will participate from all over the Pakistan. Cultural event will be full with cultural events representing by different peoples of the country.
